Veteran Engineer Yves Touron Joins Rahal as New Race Engineer for 2025 IndyCar Season
Graham Rahal has secured veteran race engineer Yves Touron for the No. 15 Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing Honda, marking a significant move to end his winless streak dating back to June 2017.

Touron joins RLL after serving as Juncos Holling Racing's technical director, bringing extensive experience from KV Racing, Dreyer & Reinbold Racing, Carlin Motorsports, and various IMSA teams. His dual expertise in IndyCar and sports car racing aligns perfectly with RLL's participation in both series.
The move comes after Rahal's 2024 season, where he finished 18th in the championship while working with rookie race engineer Ashley Higham, who has since moved to the No. 30 Honda with Devlin DeFrancesco.
Touron's appointment strengthens RLL's engineering department at a crucial time, complementing technical director Todd Malloy, who recently transferred from the team's BMW IMSA GTP program. This combination of experienced engineers aims to elevate the entire team's performance.
"Looking at what the team has built here from an outside perspective, I'm like the kid in the candy store," Touron said. "The main focus for me is to do good with Graham, get him up there and do our best and succeed."
For Rahal, who is approaching the later stages of his driving career, this partnership with Touron represents a strategic move to secure immediate success and potentially strengthen the team's future leadership.
