Karters Earn F4 Racing Licenses at Radford Racing School Scholarship Program
Radford Racing School and Formula 4 United States Championship (F4 U.S.) collaborated to facilitate the transition of three young karters to race cars through their Scholarship Award School in Chandler, Arizona. The three-day intensive course provided essential training in handling, car control, and Formula 4 racecar familiarization for students aged 14-17.

Sarah Bradley, nominated by ROK Cup USA, made history as the first female scholarship recipient. She gained valuable experience in manual Dodge Hellcats, skid cars, and F4 vehicles, along with comprehensive data analysis training.
Fellow participants Ty Arbogast and Vaughn Beesley, both from New Castle Motorsports Park, brought different experience levels to the program. Arbogast entered with limited Ligier JS F422 testing experience, while Beesley had only driven road cars previously.
The program's success is exemplified by Patrick Woods-Toth, a 2022 graduate who went on to win both the 2023 F4 U.S. Driver Championship and the 2024 FR Americas title. He joins Kyle Kirkwood and Dakota Dickerson as one of only three drivers to achieve consecutive championships in both series.
The comprehensive curriculum included:
- Ground school instruction
- Skid control training
- Lead-follow sessions
- Braking and shifting drills
- Handling exercises
- One-on-one data analysis with professional instructors
- Standing start practice
Upon graduation, participants received:
- Radford Racing School graduation certificate
- F4 U.S. competition license
- Omologato bespoke timepiece
The 2025 F4 U.S. season is scheduled to begin at NOLA Motorsports Park from March 27-30.
