Simon Property Group (SPG) has partnered with NRG eVgo, a subsidiary of NRG Energy, Inc. (NRG), to install Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations across its mall properties. This initiative aims to enhance customer shopping experience while supporting sustainable transportation.

The company will launch new EV fast-charging Freedom Station sites at three Maryland locations:

• Bowie Town Center
• St. Charles Towne Center
• Queenstown Premium Outlets

The official unveiling ceremony is scheduled for April 22nd (Earth Day), marking Simon Property's commitment to environmental sustainability and customer convenience.

This strategic move reflects the growing demand for EV charging infrastructure and positions Simon Property's retail locations as modern, environmentally conscious destinations for shoppers.
