
WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca Added to Complete 2025 Radical Cup Schedule
The 2025 Radical Cup North America season expands its IndyCar presence with the addition of WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca's Grand Prix of Monterey as Round 4, marking three total IndyCar-partnered events for the year.

The series continues to strengthen its connection with IndyCar, as demonstrated by Pro 1500 class champion Jordan Missig's recent advancement to Indy NXT with Abel Motorsport. Notable IndyCar connections include Dale Coyne Racing's Toby Sowery, former Arrow McLaren owner Sam Schmidt, and six-time IndyCar race winner Graham Rahal, who operates a successful Radical Cup team.
The competition features three classes of racing:
- Platinum Class: 425hp Radical SR10 machines (1m22s lap times at Laguna Seca)
- Pro 1500: SR3 platform (sub-1m24s lap times)
- Pro 1340: SR3 platform (1m28s lap times)
2025 Schedule:
- Round 1: Sebring International Raceway (Feb. 27-March 2)
- Round 2: Barber Motorsports Park (May 1-4)
- Round 3: XPEL Grand Prix (June 19-22)
- Round 4: WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca (July 25-27)
- Round 5: Road Atlanta (Sept. 11-13)
- Season Finale: Lime Rock Park (Oct. 17-18)
The series has proven to be a successful pathway to professional racing, with alumni achieving success in various competitions, including Le Mans winners Bijoy Garg (2024 LMP2 champion) and George Kurtz (2023 LMP2 Pro-Am champion).
Season entries are now open for competitors interested in joining the 2025 championship.
