Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff highlighted Verstappen's exceptional performance, noting his dominance both with superior machinery in the season's first half and his driver skill in the latter part when Red Bull became less competitive.

McLaren's Andrea Stella emphasized Verstappen's remarkable consistency, praising his ability to win championships both with the best car and when facing more challenging circumstances. "This title confirms that Max is one of the best drivers in the history of Formula 1," Stella remarked, addressing critics who previously attributed Verstappen's success solely to superior equipment.

The championship was mathematically secured after Verstappen finished ahead of Lando Norris in Las Vegas, with two races remaining in Qatar and Abu Dhabi. This achievement further cements Verstappen's legacy in Formula 1, with his dominance showing no signs of slowing as he enters his prime racing years.
