Carl Edwards, who won 28 NASCAR Cup Series races and 72 victories across all three national series, brought nearly 200 supporters to celebrate his induction. His career highlights include the 2007 NASCAR Xfinity Series championship and two runner-up finishes in the Cup Series, including the closest title race in history against Tony Stewart in 2011.

Ricky Rudd's induction celebrated his reputation as one of NASCAR's toughest competitors. Starting his career at 18, Rudd accumulated 23 Cup Series victories, including the 1997 Brickyard 400, and set a record of 788 consecutive starts. His 905 total starts rank second only to Richard Petty's 1,185.

Ralph Moody, inducted posthumously, left an indelible mark on the sport. After winning five races as a driver, he co-founded Holman-Moody Racing, which earned 96 Cup wins and two championships (1968-69) with David Pearson.

The ceremony also honored Dr. Dean Sicking with the Landmark Award for developing the SAFER barrier system, revolutionizing track safety. Mike Harris received the Squier-Hall Award for NASCAR Media Excellence, recognizing his four-decade career as the Associated Press's lead motorsports writer.

Edwards summed up the evening's significance: "You didn't just give me racing, you gave me an amazing life." Rudd echoed the sentiment, calling it "truly the honor of a lifetime," while Moody's son emphasized his father's dedication to both speed and safety innovations.
