
Matt Sheppard Dominates All-Tech Raceway for $6,000 Sunshine Swing Victory
Matt Sheppard showcased his dominance at the All-Tech Raceway 'Sunshine Swing' in Lake City, FL, capturing a $6,000 victory in Friday night's 40-lap Modified feature. Starting from second position, Sheppard led wire-to-wire on the fast-paced surface for his 51st career series win and first since September 2024.

Larry Wight finished second in his F.X. Caprara Car Companies No. 99L, while Tim Fuller completed the podium. Darren Smith and Tanner Van Doren rounded out the top five. Notable performances included Bobby Hackel's charge from 25th to 7th position.
In the Sportsman division, New Jersey teenager Paulie Hartwig III earned his second career series victory and a $2,000 prize in the 30-lap feature. Hartwig outdueled Donovan Lussier on a late-race restart and held off Payton Talbot for the win.
The 'Sunshine Swing' concludes Saturday with a 50-lap, $7,500-to-win Modified main event, a 30-lap, $2,000-to-win Sportsman feature, and Crown Vics competition.
