The lineup includes:
- 1989 Mazda 767B (GTP class) - driven by Andrew Carbonell
- 1992 Mazda RX-792P (GTP class) - piloted by Tom Long
- 1991 Mazda RX-7 GTO - featuring Gresham Wagner
This marks the collection's first competitive appearance since the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion in August. The cars, maintained by Flis Performance, will race together as GTP and GTO classes are combined for this event.
Wagner expressed his excitement: "It's not often you get an opportunity to drive one of the cars you see in so many posters, movies, and video games while you were growing up. I'm really thankful to Mazda Motorsports and Flis Performance for this unique chance."
Race Schedule:
- First Sprint Race: Friday at 1:20pm ET (8 laps)
- Second Sprint Race: Saturday at 9:20am ET (8 laps)
The event takes place at Sebring International Raceway, a historic WWII airfield-turned-racetrack, featuring displays of historic war planes alongside the racing action.
