HSR Classic 12 Hour at Sebring Reaches Midpoint with Close Battles

The Historic Sportscar Racing Classic Sebring 12 Hour reached its halfway point Saturday evening at Sebring International Raceway, with intense competition across all four Run Groups completing their first two segments.

Todd Treffert leads the combined Run Group A and B divisions in his 901 Shop-prepared 1975 Porsche 911 Carrera Cup RSR "Baby" Turbo, holding a one-lap advantage after securing second-place finishes in both Group B opening segments.

In Group A, David Agretelis commands a 16-second lead in his 901 Shop 1972 Porsche 911 S/T, following a victory in the second race and runner-up finish in the first round.

Run Group C features an exciting rivalry between the Pierce Marshall/Eric Foss duo in their Cadillac DPi and Bob Neapole/Guy Cosmo in their Acura ARX-05. The Cadillac team currently leads by 35 seconds after winning both opening segments, despite a minor on-track incident in the second segment.

Tom McGlynn dominates Run Group D in his 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 R, building a 21-second lead through victories in both opening segments.

The competition concludes Sunday with final races for all groups, starting at 1:30pm ET for Group A/B and ending with Group D at 3:30pm ET.
