Mahindra's Formula E team continued its positive momentum in Mexico City, with Nyck de Vries securing another points finish. This marks significant progress compared to their challenging 2023-24 season, where they achieved only five points finishes across 16 races.

The team's recent improvements can be attributed to extensive off-season changes, including technical staff restructuring and the development of a new powertrain. De Vries, who finished eighth, acknowledged the positive start to the season while emphasizing the need for continued development.

Edoardo Mortara showed promising pace by qualifying eighth and reaching the duels for the second consecutive race. However, his race was compromised by a puncture following contact from behind, preventing a potential double points finish for the team.

Team Principal Frederic Bertrand expressed satisfaction with the team's progress, highlighting their consistent performance in both qualifying and race conditions. He emphasized the importance of using the month-long break before the Jeddah races to analyze and further improve their performance.
