Jaguar eyes further Formula E success after championship-winning season
Jaguar TCS Racing enters the new Formula E season with high expectations following their most successful campaign yet, securing both the teams' and manufacturers' championships in Season 10. Despite missing out on the drivers' title, team principal James Barclay remains positive about their achievements.

The team faced criticism for not backing a single driver in their championship battle against Porsche's Pascal Wehrlein. However, Barclay defends their decision to give both Mitch Evans and Nick Cassidy equal opportunities until the final race. Looking ahead, he acknowledges they may approach similar situations differently in the future.
With the introduction of the GEN3 Evo formula, Jaguar's development of the I-Type 7 began two years ago, aiming to improve upon their highly successful I-Type 6. Barclay acknowledges the challenge of maintaining their competitive edge while other manufacturers catch up.
The Season 11 opener moves from Mexico City to Sao Paulo's Anhembi Sambadrome, which Barclay believes will provide a more representative view of the competitive order due to its traditional Formula E circuit characteristics, featuring a mix of medium-speed, low-speed, and high-speed corners.
The team remains cautiously optimistic about their prospects, recognizing that while they've likely found performance gains, their competitors have also made significant improvements. The focus will be on continual development throughout the season to maintain their competitive advantage.
