This marks Mercedes-AMG's return to La Sarthe since 1999, with Iron Lynx running three cars in total. The third car entry was secured through an automatic invitation after winning the 2024 European Le Mans Series LMGT3 championship.

Iron Lynx CEO Andrea Piccini expressed enthusiasm about the expanded program, highlighting the Groves' extensive experience and Stolz's exceptional talent. The Grove duo brings significant GT racing experience from SRO competition across Asia and Australia, including six joint starts in the Bathurst 12 Hour.

Brenton Grove, making his Le Mans debut alongside his father, called it his career highlight, expressing excitement about competing in "the biggest race in the world."

The team's full-season WEC lineup includes:

  • No. 60: Claudio Schiavoni, Matteo Cressoni, and Matteo Cairoli
  • No. 61: Christian Ried, Lin Hodenius, and Maxime Martin

The complete 2025 Le Mans 24 Hours entry list is scheduled for release tomorrow.
