Josef Newgarden Tops St. Pete IndyCar Final Practice
Team Penske's Josef Newgarden topped the final warmup session for the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, setting a fastest lap time of 1m01.1952s in his No. 2 PPG Chevrolet. Despite starting from 10th position in today's race, Newgarden demonstrated strong pace during the 30-minute session.
Honda-powered cars showed competitive form, with Chip Ganassi Racing teammates Scott Dixon and Alex Palou securing the second and third fastest times respectively.
