Formula 1 viewership on ESPN platforms reached nearly 30 million fans in 2024, matching 2023's average of 1.1 million viewers per race – the second-highest viewership in U.S. television history.

- Total reach increased to 29.5 million viewers (up from 24 million in 2023)
- Miami Grand Prix set an all-time U.S. television F1 record with 3.1 million viewers
- Seven races broke event viewership records in 2024: Miami, Monaco, Canada, British, Italian, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi
- Eleven races showed increased viewership compared to 2023
Abu Dhabi Season Finale:
- Average viewership: 1 million viewers
- Peak viewership: 1.1 million (9:15-9:30am ET)
- Surpassed previous record of 998,000 set in 2021
Growth Since 2018:
- Viewership has doubled from 554,000 (2018) to 1.1 million (2023-24)
- Represents nearly 100% increase over six years
The 2025 Formula 1 season kicks off on March 16 in Australia, with ESPN continuing its coverage of the championship.
