
2024 ASCS Banquet Celebrates Bergman's Championship Victory
The American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) celebrated its 2024 season achievements at the annual banquet, distributing over $150,000 in prize money to the top performers of the 34-race tour.

Seth Bergman claimed his first National Tour championship after 15 years of competition, marking a significant improvement from his 16th-place finish in 2009. His outstanding season included seven victories, starting with the opener at Super Bee Speedway.
Sam Hafertepe Jr. secured the Owners championship for Hill's Racing Team in dramatic fashion, winning the final race at Creek County from ninth position. His 12 wins in 2024 made it his second-best season, behind only his 15-win campaign in 2017.
Hank Davis earned Rookie of the Year honors, scoring three wins including back-to-back victories at Electric City Speedway. Wayne Johnson received the Lee Maier Crew Chief of the Year Award for his exceptional guidance of Davis's rookie campaign.
