Sprint car racing legend Darryl Ruggles partners with CRSA Sprints to introduce a new Hard Luck Award for the 2025 season. This unique award will be presented to drivers who experience the most challenging circumstances during each race event.

Drivers who receive the most Hard Luck Awards throughout the season will be eligible for monetary bonuses, with the overall recipient earning the "Hard Luck of the Season" trophy.

"Every race needs an extra incentive. It's not an award that anyone wants, but if you have a bad night, which we all do, those are the guys that need that pick me up," says Darryl Ruggles, 2020 CRSA Sprints Champion and owner of Ruggles World of Auto Body and Graphics.
