The British team enters Extreme H following a successful stint in Extreme E, where they secured five X Prix victories and led the 2024 championship with drivers Molly Taylor and Kevin Hansen before the season's early conclusion. The team had also finished third in the 2023 standings.

Daniel Bailey, CEO of Veloce Media Group and E.ON Next Veloce Racing, emphasized the team's commitment to environmental causes and technological innovation: "Extreme H offers an opportunity to continue our environmental mission while showcasing hydrogen as a sustainable solution for the automotive industry's future."

The announcement follows Spark's completion of 10 Pioneer 25 race cars, purpose-built for the hydrogen-powered series after extensive testing throughout 2024. While former Extreme E champion Rosberg X Racing has declined participation, several other teams are reportedly in discussions to join the series.

Extreme H founder and CEO Alejandro Agag welcomed Veloce's entry, praising their previous contributions to gender equality and clean technology awareness in motorsport. The series aims to showcase hydrogen power's potential in advancing sustainable automotive solutions while maintaining competitive racing.

This historic move positions Veloce at the forefront of hydrogen-powered motorsport, combining their racing expertise with a commitment to sustainable innovation and environmental awareness.
