Mack brings significant experience from his recent roles at Trackhouse Racing and Kaulig Racing, where he served as crew chief for the No. 16 Cup Series team and technical director. In his Cup Series career, Mack has overseen 156 races and secured one victory with Daniel Suarez at Sonoma Raceway in 2022.
"I'm looking forward to helping Legacy Motor Club build something great," said Mack, who previously worked with team co-owner Jimmie Johnson at Hendrick Motorsports. "There are a lot of talented people here at Legacy M.C., and I'm ready to get to work."
Jacob Canter, SVP and Sporting Director for Legacy Motor Club, emphasized the strategic nature of the hire: "As we continue to make changes and evolve on the competition side, the goal is to place the right people in the right places. We are thrilled to have a talent like Travis on board and look forward to what he, Ben and the engineering team can accomplish."
