
Super DIRTcar Series Championship Season Launches at New Egypt Speedway
The Super DIRTcar Series kicks off its 2025 championship season with three exciting events across New Jersey and New York, bringing the thunderous action of Big Block Modified racing to passionate dirt track fans.

Power in the Pines at New Egypt Speedway (March 29):
- 75-lap feature paying $7,500 to win
- 16th Series race at the 7/16-mile track
- Matt Sheppard leads with 3 wins at the facility
- Anthony Perrego is defending race winner
Thunder in the Thousand Islands at Can-Am Speedway (April 12):
- 25 previous Series races with 17 different winners
- Mat Williamson won the most recent event in September
- Track champion Tim Fuller seeks redemption after leading most of 2024's event
- Known as the "Nasty Track of the North"
Albany-Saratoga Speedway 60th Anniversary Celebration (April 18):
- First-ever April Series race at the "Great Race Place"
- Opening night of track's 60th anniversary season
- 24 previous Series races with 18 different winners
- Mat Williamson swept both 2024 events
- Stewart Friesen holds track record with 4 Series wins
Notable Statistics:
- Since 2019, four drivers earned their first Series win at Albany-Saratoga
