Expressing confidence about the transition, Sainz revealed he was already mentally noting Ferrari's performance characteristics during his final race, particularly focusing on corner behavior and areas where Williams might need improvement.

"I was already starting to feel things in the car and trying to say, remember how this feels, because Monday and Tuesday I need to remember why is this car quick in this corner and why does it feel good," Sainz explained after Sunday's race.

Ferrari permitted Sainz to participate in Williams' post-race activities, including a Monday filming day with limited mileage on demonstration tires and Tuesday's Pirelli tire test.

The Spanish driver made the most of his first Williams opportunity, completing 146 laps during Tuesday's test – the highest number of any driver. He maintained the top position for most of the day, ultimately finishing second fastest behind his former Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc.

Despite his imminent departure from Ferrari, Sainz emphasized his commitment to both teams, balancing his final duties in Maranello while actively working on his future role in making the Williams car faster.
