Jordan founded Jordan Grand Prix, which entered 250 grands prix and secured four victories, with a best finish of third place in both drivers' and constructors' championships before he sold it in 2005. He later became a TV pundit and entrepreneur.

F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali remembered Jordan for his "inexhaustible energy" and ability to make people smile, while former Benetton and Renault boss Flavio Briatore praised him as "a great individual" who brought joy to the F1 paddock for decades.

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner recalled his first meeting with Jordan in 1991, highlighting his memorable advice: "get a good sponsor... welcome to the Piranha Club!" Horner praised Jordan's energy and fun personality, noting that Formula 1 has lost a legend with his distinctive Irish charm.

Lawrence Stroll, owner of Aston Martin (formerly Jordan Grand Prix), described Jordan as "a true racer, a great leader, and one of the biggest characters in our sport." Aston Martin team principal Andy Cowell celebrated Jordan's achievement in establishing an independent team without major manufacturer backing in the early 1990s.

McLaren's Zak Brown and Williams team principal James Vowles also paid tribute, with Brown highlighting Jordan's passion for Formula 1 and his incredible legacy, while Vowles praised him as a "larger-than-life character that changed the course of our sport for the better."

The entire Formula 1 community's thoughts are with Jordan's family and loved ones during this difficult time.
