The milestone car, a specially modified SR3, features unique bronze chassis coating, wheels, and decals. It's destined for John Hewitt, a longtime Radical Cup UK competitor, symbolizing the company's deep connection with its racing community.
Since its 1997 founding, Radical has transformed motorsport accessibility, creating high-performance vehicles for both amateur and professional racers. The company now maintains a global presence with over 30 dealers across 20 countries and oversees 14 single-make championship series worldwide.
Despite industry challenges, Radical has maintained strong growth and profitability by focusing on specialized markets and comprehensive customer support. Chief Commercial Officer Dan Redpath attributes this success to the company's dedication to producing exceptional race cars and delivering superior customer experiences.
The timing of this achievement is particularly meaningful, as it falls exactly 28 years after Radical's establishment. The company's journey began with the 1100 Clubsport model at Brands Hatch, and within two years, had enough customers to establish its first full racing grid, laying the foundation for today's global Radical racing ecosystem.
This milestone highlights Radical's evolution from a local British manufacturer to a global motorsport innovator, while maintaining strong ties to its UK roots through continued domestic production and racing series support.
