Dallas Glenn aims for his first NHRA Pro Stock championship at Pomona while maintaining a relaxed mindset. Instead of fixating on racing, he's spent time golfing and enjoying Las Vegas with family to avoid overthinking the upcoming challenge.

After a first-round loss in Las Vegas two weeks ago, Glenn trails points leader Aaron Stanfield by 32 points heading into the finale at In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip. The finale offers points-and-a-half scoring, with 30 points per round instead of the usual 20.

Glenn remains focused on executing quality runs rather than obsessing over outcomes. "If I just go out there and try to make eight good quality runs and try to win the race, wherever it falls, it'll fall," he says, acknowledging his successful season regardless of the final result.

Teammate Greg Anderson sits third in the championship hunt, 56 points behind Stanfield. Glenn's impressive 2024 campaign includes five victories through 19 races, a 46-14 win/loss record, and two No. 1 qualifier positions - already surpassing his previous best of four wins in 2023.

Since transitioning from crew member to driver in 2021, Glenn has accumulated 13 race victories and demonstrates continued growth in the sport. His strategy for the championship remains straightforward: maintain aggression while executing consistently.

"I know Aaron is going to be very tough. This absolutely could come down to the very last round," Glenn admits. "I'm just going to go up there and try to do what I've done all season and just be aggressive."
