PREMA Racing will conduct its first major IndyCar test at The Thermal Club on January 28, marking a significant milestone as the series' newest team prepares for its debut season.

Led by owners Rene Rosin and Angelina Ertsou, PREMA has partnered with Chevrolet and secured an impressive driver lineup featuring Callum Ilott and rookie Robert Schwartzman.

The team plans to conduct an initial shakedown near their new Indianapolis facility before heading to California for comprehensive testing alongside Andretti Global. While the date is tentatively set, team management acknowledges the schedule remains fluid due to ongoing preparations.

"It's changing almost every day," Ertsou explained to RACER. "The first race is at the end of February, so if we're not on track in January, I should be worried."

The test date has been officially approved and added to IndyCar's testing calendar, requiring series approval for any subsequent changes.
