Pfaff Motorsports has announced a switch to Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo2 for their 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GTD PRO campaign, beginning with the Rolex 24 At Daytona.

The team's Daytona driver lineup includes Lamborghini drivers Andrea Caldarelli, Marco Mapelli, and Jordan Pepper, alongside Pfaff's 2024 endurance driver James Hinchcliffe.

This change comes after a challenging season with McLaren, where the team secured only two podium finishes - both third places at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca and Sahlen's Six Hours of the Glen. The decision marks Pfaff's second manufacturer switch in recent years, following their move from Porsche to McLaren after the 2023 season.

Prior to their McLaren partnership, Pfaff had achieved considerable success with Porsche, winning both GTD and GTD PRO championships. The team's departure from McLaren was subtly hinted at through social media with a bull emoji, preceding the official Rolex 24 entry list announcement.

The switch impacts the broader IMSA landscape, as it currently leaves the 2025 grid without McLaren representation, following Inception Racing's mid-2024 switch from the McLaren 720S to a Ferrari 296 GT3 in the GTD class.
