Adelson, Skeer Return to Wright Motorsports to Chase IMSA GTD Title in 2025

Adam Adelson and Elliott Skeer will continue piloting the No. 120 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R in the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, aiming for GTD championship glory in their second season together.

The duo enjoyed considerable success in their rookie season, securing three podium finishes including a victory at the six-hour Battle on the Bricks at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. They also claimed the Fanatec GT World Challenge America Pro title in 2024.

For the 2025 season's endurance events, Australian racer Tom Sargent will join the team. Sargent brings valuable experience from karting, Formula Ford, and success in both Porsche Carrera Cup North America and Fanatec GT World Challenge America.

Turkish driver Ayhancan Güven will complete the lineup for the Rolex 24 At Daytona. The 26-year-old former Porsche Junior driver brings impressive credentials, including championships in Porsche Carrera Cup France, GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux, and Asian Le Mans Series.

Team owner John Wright expressed confidence in the driver lineup, noting Adelson and Skeer's remarkable growth during their first IMSA WeatherTech season. Adelson himself highlighted the team's improved preparation and experience heading into their second Daytona campaign, emphasizing their young but highly motivated driver lineup's potential for success.

The 2025 season marks Wright Motorsports' 25th year in competition, with the team looking to add more achievements to their already impressive legacy.
