Mike Mahaney Crowned 2024 Airborne Park Champion with $5,000 Title Win

Airborne Park Speedway celebrated its 2024 Night of Champions Banquet at Rainbow Banquet Hall in Altona, marking the end of the track's 70th season. Nearly 300 attendees gathered to honor the year's achievements.

Mike Mahaney from Elizabethtown, NY, claimed the Be Cool 358 Modified Track Championship and a $5,000 prize. Tim Fuller secured second place ($3,000), while Steve Bernier took third ($1,500). Jordan Fornwalt earned Rookie of the Year honors, finishing 8th in points.

  • J&S Steel Sportsman: Donovan Lussier ($2,000)
  • 9th State Cannabis Renegade: Shawn Duquette ($500)
  • Moore Recycling Mini Stock: Ryan Senecal ($500)

The 2025 season is expected to start earlier, weather permitting. A rules meeting will be held during the winter. Updates will be posted on the Airborne Park Speedway Facebook page and website.
