Marco Andretti Seeks 20th Indy 500 Start with Andretti Global
Marco Andretti will compete in his milestone 20th Indianapolis 500 with Andretti Global, piloting the No. 98 Honda alongside full-season teammates Colton Herta, Kyle Kirkwood, and Marcus Ericsson in the first hybrid-era Indy 500.

Andretti brings valuable experience to the team, including a 2020 pole position and three third-place finishes at the historic race his grandfather Mario won in 1969. He'll join forces with 2022 Indy 500 winner Marcus Ericsson, strengthening Andretti Global's pursuit of victory.
According to Andretti COO Rob Edwards, the decision to retain Marco benefits the team through his extensive Indianapolis experience and the additional data gathering opportunities. Edwards emphasized that maintaining continuity with Marco, rather than introducing a new driver, provides strategic advantages as the team collaborates to achieve their goals at the iconic event.
