MSR Acura Dominates First Roar Before the 24 Session
Meyer Shank Racing's Acura ARX-06 dominated the first session of the Roar Before the 24 test weekend, with Tom Blomqvist setting the fastest time of 1m35.927s in the No. 60 car.

BMW Team RLL secured second place with Rene Rast's 1m36.103s in the No. 25 M Hybrid V8, while Gianmaria Bruni placed third in the JDC-Miller 963 with a 1m36.182s lap time.
Notable performances included:
- Porsche's No. 6 factory car finished fifth, 0.652s off the lead
- Whelen-backed Action Express Cadillac V-Series.R placed eighth
- Lamborghini SC63, despite leading November's Sanctioned Test, finished 23rd

- LMP2: Crowdstrike by APR ORECA led with 1m38.673s
- GTD: Pfaff's Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 topped with 1m47.626s
- Iron Dames Porsche secured second in GTD with Sarah Bovy's 1m48.084s

The session saw two red flags, with the final stoppage caused by AO Racing ORECA's incident at the Bus Stop chicane. PJ Hyett returned to pit lane with front-left damage after spinning at the corner exit.
Mercedes-AMG GT3s debuted with torque sensors, with Korthoff Competition Motors' No. 32 car leading the manufacturer's entries in 18th place in GTD.
