Lynn Leads Cadillac to Top Spot in Qatar WEC Free Practice 2
Alex Lynn led the second Free Practice session at the FIA WEC season opener in Qatar, setting the fastest time of 1m39.601s in the No. 12 Cadillac V-Series.R for Hertz Team JOTA.
Ferrari's Antonio Fuoco claimed second place with a 1m39.906s in the No. 50 499P, while Robin Frijns put the No. 20 BMW Team WRT M Hybrid V8 in third, about half a second behind Lynn.

"The car is in a good window and all three of us are enjoying it," said Lynn. "The rest of the weekend is going to be about executing and delivering on what we know we can do."
The Aston Martin THOR Team Valkyries showed improvement from FP1, with the No. 007 and No. 009 completing 43 and 39 laps respectively, despite earlier issues that caused a red flag.
In LMGT3, United Autosports' McLaren GT3 Evo topped the class with Sean Gelael's 1m54.557s lap, followed by the AKKODIS ASP Lexus RC F GT3s in second and third. The Iron Lynx Mercedes team recovered from fuel docking issues in FP1 to complete nearly 50 combined laps in FP2.
The session concluded without major incidents. Free Practice 3 is scheduled for Thursday at 12:00pm local time.
