After securing the pole position over Landon Brooks, Larson faced pressure from Daison Pursley, who moved into second place on lap 13. The race nearly ended for Larson when he encountered slower traffic, forcing him to drive over Brenham Crouch's car, but his vehicle remarkably refired after landing.

Larson utilized multiple racing lines, including running near the wall, to maintain his lead over Pursley. A late-race caution occurred when a frontstretch banner tore onto the track just as Larson brushed the wall. In the final sprint, both drivers rode the cushion, with Pursley making one last charge in his CB Industries No. 86, but Larson prevailed by 0.365 seconds.

Shane Golobic advanced from eighth to finish third, followed by Ryan Bernal, who started ninth, and Landon Brooks completed the top five.

"We had a great car," Larson commented post-race. "Paul Silva has been working really hard on the Midget the last three years, and for as bad as we were in 2022 with the same car, to come away with a Chili Bowl win feels great, especially with how difficult Monday was."
