Tyler "Teddy" Edwards will return to Mounce/Stout Motorsports for the 2025 Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series presented by Toyota, piloting the No. 56 car across 27 races.
Edwards, 31, from Salina, OK, comes off a solid rookie season where he secured seven top-10 finishes and peaked with a fourth-place finish at Atomic Speedway, ultimately finishing ninth in championship points.
"I feel more comfortable than ever," Edwards said. "Knowing the tracks makes a huge difference in approaching setup and race strategy. Our notebook is much thicker now, and we understand what I need from the car."

Team owner Jay Mounce expresses optimism about Edwards' sophomore season, drawing from experience with former driver Chase McDermand, who won six Series Features in 2023. "Teddy's going to be much better this year with a full season under his belt. He could have reached the podium several times last year, and I believe he'll show real success in 2025."
Edwards and the team will kick off their 2025 campaign at Farmer City Raceway's Illini 100 on April 10-12. With improved car control and a deeper understanding of track setups, Edwards aims to secure multiple wins and compete for the championship.
"We should be competing for wins," Edwards stated. "I want to win a couple of races this year and be in the mix for points. I won't have a sophomore slump, that's for sure."
