
Netto Leads Every Lap for Historic NARC Season Opener at Stockton
D.J. Netto dominated the 2025 NARC 410 sprint car season opener at the Stockton Dirt Track, leading all 30 laps to win the Salute to Leroy Van Conett.

Netto set a new track record in qualifying and won from the pole position in his Penny Newman Green-sponsored Netto Ag No. 88n Rider-powered KPC. He faced strong competition from reigning NARC champion Justin Sanders throughout the race until Sanders spun out with six laps remaining while avoiding a lapped car.
Shane Golobic finished second in the NOS Energy Drink No. 17w, followed by Sean Becker in third. Kaleb Montgomery impressed with a fourth-place finish after starting 15th, while Andy Forsberg rounded out the top five.
Tim Kaeding earned the Williams Roofing Hard Charger award, advancing from 21st to finish sixth. The event honored Stockton native Leroy Van Conett, an eight-time NARC champion and National Sprint Car Hall of Fame inductee who attended the race.
Heat race victories went to Tanner Carrick, Shane Golobic, and Dylan Bloomfield. The 25-car field showcased intense racing throughout the evening, with multiple drivers making impressive charges through the pack.
