Lamborghini Confirms Riley to Manage GTP Program in 2025 IMSA Endurance Races

Lamborghini has confirmed its entry in IMSA's five WeatherTech SportsCar Championship endurance rounds for 2025, with Riley Technologies set to operate the program. The effort will feature a single Lamborghini SC63 GTP car competing in the Michelin Endurance Cup events.

The operation will be managed by Riley Technologies and Riley Motorsports, led by the renowned Riley family. This partnership brings significant prototype racing expertise to Lamborghini's GTP program, with the Rileys having an extensive history of successful motorsport ventures.

Notable achievements by Riley Technologies include:

  • Developing the Chevy Intrepid GTP
  • Managing Cadillac's initial prototype programs in the 1990s
  • Creating Grand-Am's most successful Daytona Prototype

  • Securing LMP3 championships with the Robinson family

The technical and sporting departments of Lamborghini Squadra Corse will provide support for the program, with full details of the SC63 program to be announced at a later date. This announcement follows the recent passing of Bob Riley, IMSA Hall of Fame inductee, who left an indelible mark on American motorsport through his numerous innovations and achievements.
