Kyle Larson made history by winning the richest prize in Australian sprint car racing at Perth Motorplex, claiming $100,000 AUD ($62,000 USD) in High Limit Racing's first international event.
Racing in a local team owner Jason Pryde's car, Larson charged from sixth position to win the main event, overtaking James McFadden with nine laps remaining to win by more than three seconds.
