Kyle Chaney Dominates King of the Hammers with Historic Can-Am Victory
Kyle Chaney made history at the 2025 King of the Hammers by becoming the first driver to win the prestigious "Race of Kings" in a Can-Am based UTV, defeating vehicles with four to six times more horsepower and significantly higher costs.

The race unfolded in three dramatic laps, with early leader Loren Healy in the factory Ford Bronco retiring due to drivetrain issues. JP Gomez and Josh Blyler traded the lead during the challenging "Mystery Lap" - a secret third circuit unveiled just before the race. After Blyler's breakdown and Gomez's mechanical issues, Chaney seized the opportunity to secure victory.
Chaney crossed the finish line 30 minutes ahead of second-place finisher JP Gomez, with Brian Caprera, Robby Gordon (sharing driving duties with son Max), and Cody Addington completing the top five. Only 27 of 97 starters completed the grueling course.

The 2025 King of the Hammers demonstrated the evolving landscape of off-road racing, with UTVs proving they can compete and win against traditionally more powerful vehicles on the most challenging terrain.
