
Hafertepe Jr. Dominates Season Finale with $10,000 ASCS Victory
Sam Hafertepe Jr. secured a thrilling victory at Creek County Speedway's Fuzzy's Fall Fling finale, earning a $10,000 prize and his 12th win of the 2024 season. Starting from ninth position, Hafertepe demonstrated exceptional skill throughout the 40-lap feature event.

Race winners at dirt track podium
The race began with pole-sitter Hank Davis leading confidently until mechanical issues forced his retirement past the halfway mark. Matt Covington then took control but faced persistent pressure from Hafertepe, who executed a decisive move with six laps remaining. Utilizing a high line through Turns 3 and 4 before crossing over to the bottom, Hafertepe captured the lead and pulled away to win by nearly two seconds.
Notable performances included:
- Matt Covington finishing second, marking his ninth podium of 2024
- Blake Hahn recovering from an early spin to claim third
- Series champion Seth Bergman advancing from 15th to fourth, earning Hard Charger honors
- Alex Sewell achieving his first top-five finish of the season with the National Tour
