The 23-year-old Californian brings diverse racing experience, including USAC Midget and Sprint Cars, LMP3 cars, single-seaters, and dirt bikes. She previously participated as a wild card entry in the Miami Grand Prix round of F1 Academy.

Crone will succeed Chloe Chambers, who currently ranks fourth in the championship and is moving to Red Bull next season. She will compete for ART Grand Prix in Haas colors.

Team Principal Ayao Komatsu praised F1 Academy's growing popularity and emphasized Crone's ambition and dedication as key factors in her selection. The team will provide her with comprehensive support and learning opportunities within their Formula 1 organization.

Currently competing in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North American Championship, Crone expressed her enthusiasm about representing America's F1 team. She acknowledged that her Miami Grand Prix wild card experience revealed the commitment required to become a championship contender.

"This opportunity is my number one priority, and with MoneyGram Haas F1 Team, I believe I have the best chance for success," stated Crone.
