A new dedicated FOX sports streaming service will launch by the end of 2025, offering IndyCar racing and other sports content to cord-cutters and traditional cable subscribers alike.

FOX CEO Lachlan Murdoch announced during a quarterly earnings call that the direct-to-consumer bundle will include:

  • FOX network (featuring all IndyCar races)
  • FOX Sports 1 and 2 (hosting practices, qualifying, and Indy NXT series)
  • Additional sports content offerings

Cable subscribers can continue accessing streaming content through the FOX Sports app on multiple platforms through their provider authentication. The app supports:

  • Android and Android TV
  • Google Chromecast
  • Amazon Fire TV
  • Vizio
  • Xbox
  • Apple TV
  • Roku
  • Samsung Smart TV

While no official FOX streaming option exists for non-cable subscribers in early 2025, alternative paid services are available until the new platform launches. FOX's free ad-supported streamer Tubi will broadcast select major sporting events, potentially including the Indianapolis 500, but won't serve as a comprehensive sports streaming solution.

This new service aims to fill the gap left by VENU Sports' recent closure while maintaining FOX's commitment to traditional cable bundles while expanding accessibility to cord-cutting viewers.
