During his tenure since 2021, Domenicali has driven significant growth for F1, succeeding former CEO Chase Carey. Under his leadership, the sport has seen increased commercial success and fan engagement, with Liberty Media praising the strengthened ecosystem for all stakeholders.

Derek Chang, Liberty's president and CEO, commended Domenicali's effective strategy and results, highlighting his role in accelerating F1's growth both commercially and in fan engagement. Notable achievements include securing major sponsorship deals, such as the recent LVMH partnership, and managing the strategic addition of Cadillac as the 11th team for 2026.
