Former Radical Racers Set for Rolex 24 At Daytona Start

Racing careers forged in Radical competition will be well-represented at the 2024 Rolex 24 At Daytona, with six alumni taking the green flag in the prestigious endurance race.

George Kurtz, who began racing Radical SR3's at Spring Mountain Motor Club, brings significant experience including three Daytona podiums. His most recent achievements include consecutive second-place LMP2 finishes in 2023 and 2024.

Joining Kurtz in the No. 04 CrowdStrike Racing by APR entry is Toby Sowery, winner of the Pro 1500 class at the 2022 Radical World Finals. They'll start ninth in the LMP2 class.

David Heinemeier Hansson, who first experienced racing in a Radical SR3 at Autobahn Country Club, will pilot the No. 18 Era Motorsport entry from 11th position. His impressive career includes a 2015 Le Mans GTE-Am victory.

Field's teammate in the No. 43 Inter Europol Competition LMP2, Bijoy Garg, won the Pro 1340 race in 2023 and claimed an LMP2 victory at Le Mans with United Autosport.

2024 Radical Cup Pro 1340 champion Suellio Almeida also made his mark in the Michelin Pilot Challenge, finishing fourth in TCR class with Bryan Herta Autosport.
