EVgo is rolling out Autocharge, a seamless Plug & Charge technology across its U.S. charging network. This innovative feature eliminates the need for apps, RFID cards, or credit card payments when starting a charging session.

Registered customers can now initiate fast-charging by simply plugging in their electric vehicle, making the charging process significantly more convenient and time-efficient. The system automatically recognizes registered vehicles and handles payment processing through stored payment methods.

This technology represents a significant step forward in charging infrastructure, matching the convenience level of traditional gas station experiences. The feature is currently being deployed across EVgo's extensive network of fast-charging stations throughout the United States.

To use Autocharge, customers need only register once through their EVgo account, after which the system will automatically recognize their vehicle during future charging sessions. This streamlined approach significantly reduces the time and effort required to start charging, particularly beneficial during adverse weather conditions or late-night charging stops.

Note: To access this feature, vehicles must be compatible with EVgo's Autocharge technology, and users must have an active EVgo account with valid payment information on file.
