Ed Carpenter Racing Unveils New Brand Identity for 2025 IndyCar Campaign
Ed Carpenter Racing has undergone its first rebranding since its 2012 IndyCar team launch, introducing a modernized visual identity for the 2025 season.

The team's new logo features its initials "ecr" in lowercase, set within an overhead view of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway's 2.5-mile oval. The updated branding includes a new color palette, highlighted by "Indiana Gold," honoring the team's Hoosier heritage.
This rebranding coincides with significant organizational changes, including the addition of Ted Gelov as new owner and chairman. Gelov, owner of Heartland Food Products Group, joins the team during a transformative period focused on innovation and competitive excellence.
For the 2025 season, ECR will field sophomore driver Christian Rasmussen and veteran Alexander Rossi in their two-car Chevrolet-powered program. Ed Carpenter, a three-time Indy 500 pole winner, will join the lineup in May for the Indianapolis 500 in a third entry.
The team's history connects deeply with Indianapolis Motor Speedway, dating back to 1945 when Carpenter's family member, Anton 'Tony' Hulman Jr., saved the track from closure after World War II. The Hulman-George family operated the facility until 2020.
The rebranded team will make its competitive debut at the season opener in St. Petersburg this February, marking a new chapter in ECR's pursuit of victory lane and championship contention.
