"Racing is in my DNA, and no form of racing resonates more personally and strongly with me than the NTT IndyCar Series," Boles stated. "I'm honored to lead the amazing team at IndyCar, and I truly believe the future is bigger and brighter than ever for our sport and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway."

The leadership change comes just weeks before the 2025 season opener. Additional organizational changes include:

  • Mark Sibla: Promoted to Sr. VP of competition and operations
  • Kyle Novak: Elevated to VP of officiating and race control
  • Alex Damron: Appointed as IndyCar's chief marketing officer
  • Louis Kissinger: Promoted to IMS operations GM

Novak's expanded role will include leadership of the technical inspection team. Sibla is expected to oversee the development of IndyCar's new vehicle program.
