Danner Dominates Atlantic City Indoor Racing Practice with Fastest Lap
Indoor racing reached new heights at Atlantic City's Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall during Thursday's intense practice session, with Briggs Danner emerging as the standout performer.
Danner, from Allentown, PA, dominated multiple practice rounds, setting the day's fastest time of 8.046 seconds in Practice 4. He consistently showed exceptional speed, leading Practice 3 with 8.243 seconds and posting 8.487 seconds in the opening session.
Sprint car racing on dirt track
Andy Jankowiak, a four-time Gambler's Classic champion, maintained strong pressure with an impressive 8.081-second lap in the final session and topped Practice 2 with 8.399 seconds. Matt Janisch led Practice 1 with an 8.317-second lap.
Other division highlights included:
- Champ Karts: Mike Perry (Dighton, MA) - fastest time of 8.661 seconds
- Slingshots: Brett Bieber (Oley, PA) - leading time of 9.453 seconds
- Dirt 600 Micros: Tom Fraschetta - top time of 9.528 seconds

- Friday: Grandstands open 6 PM, racing starts 7 PM
- Saturday: Grandstands open 5 PM, Fan Fest until 6:15 PM, racing starts 7 PM
