Daniel Suarez remains optimistic about his performance with Trackhouse Racing despite competing under a one-year contract extension. The Mexican driver emphasizes that his focus is on achieving consistent performance gains rather than worrying about contract duration.

"At the time when we made this deal, there were a lot of unknowns – on performance mainly," Suarez explained. "There were a lot of things that I was not happy about, but I feel like right now we're in a better position with a clearer direction."

Performance has fluctuated at Trackhouse Racing over recent years. The team saw success in 2022 with three wins across their drivers, including Suarez's first NASCAR Cup Series victory at Sonoma Raceway. While 2023 brought challenges, Suarez managed to secure a win in 2024 while teammate Ross Chastain struggled to make the postseason.

Suarez emphasizes his ambition extends beyond single-race victories: "My goal is not to win one race a year. We need to bring Trackhouse to the next level to compete consistently with Penske, Hendrick, and Joe Gibbs Racing."

Despite Trackhouse Racing's expanding driver lineup, including development driver Connor Zilisch and Shane van Gisbergen, Suarez remains focused on his personal growth and contribution to the team's success.

"Trackhouse has been nothing but great to me, and we've been working together very hard," Suarez stated. "The offseason brought significant progress, and I believe we're heading in the right direction to achieve our goals."

The upcoming season will be crucial as Trackhouse Racing aims to establish itself among NASCAR's elite teams, with Suarez playing a key role in this pursuit of excellence.
