Chase Bank to Install EVgo Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Across 50 Branch Locations
EVgo will install and operate electric vehicle charging stations at 50 Chase Bank branches across the US, marking a significant expansion of charging infrastructure. This initiative aims to provide convenient charging options for customers while they conduct their banking activities.
The pilot program includes both DC fast charging and Level 2 charging stations, capable of providing up to 80% charge in 15-45 minutes depending on the vehicle model. All charging stations will be available 24/7 and accessible through the EVgo mobile app.
Selected Chase branches will feature prominent signage and dedicated parking spaces for EV charging. The charging stations will be compatible with all major electric vehicle brands and charging standards.
This partnership represents Chase's commitment to sustainability and reducing carbon emissions. If successful, the program may expand to additional branch locations across Chase's network of over 4,700 locations.
Customers can locate participating branches and check real-time charger availability through both the Chase and EVgo mobile apps. Payment can be processed through EVgo membership or standard credit/debit card transactions.
