Pierce finished the 2024 season in second place, just 38 points behind Brandon Sheppard, achieving 14 wins, 28 top fives, and 33 top 10s. With 31 career wins, he currently ranks 10th on the all-time wins list, trailing Scott Bloomquist and Tim McCreadie by just two victories.

His notable 2024 victories included the Illini 100, NAPA Gopher 50, Prairie Dirt Classic, and USA Nationals, along with prestigious wins at Knoxville Raceway, Huset's Speedway, and Eldora Speedway.

The 2025 season kicks off at Volusia Speedway Park during the DIRTcar Sunshine Nationals (January 22-25), where Pierce has previously claimed four victories during DIRTcar Nationals events. The nearly 60-race schedule concludes at The Dirt Track at Charlotte for the World of Outlaws World Finals (November 5-8).

Pierce particularly appreciates the series' traditional points system, stating, "I like that every race matters throughout the season. There's no points gimmick at the end of the year. It's straight up all year, which is how it should be."

The Oakwood, IL driver expressed enthusiasm about the diverse track selection for 2025, including the addition of Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55, a track he specifically requested to be included in the schedule.
