Andy Jankowiak & Anthony Sesely Battle for Record Fifth Gambler's Classic Victory in Atlantic City
Indoor midget racing's most prestigious event, the Gambler's Classic at Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall, showcases a historic battle between Andy Jankowiak and Anthony Sesely, each seeking their record-breaking fifth victory.

Jankowiak, from Tonawanda, NY, has dominated recent years with four wins (2019, 2020, 2021, and 2024), matching Doug Craig's legendary three consecutive victories from 1971-72. Sesely, from Matawan, NJ, achieved his four victories in 2013, 2014, 2016, and 2023, making him the first to reach this milestone.
Adding intrigue to their rivalry, both drivers are just two wins away from matching Evander Holyfield's record of seven victories in the historic building. Each has already secured one Friday night preliminary feature win.
Ryan Flores leads the current series standings, followed by Jankowiak (-15 points) and Sesely (-30 points). The Ironton Auto Body $10,000 challenge remains available for eligible drivers winning the Gambler's Classic, potentially creating the richest TQ Midget event payout in history.
The two-day event features:
- Over 50 TQ Midget competitors from 13 states and two Canadian provinces
- Additional classes including Slingshots, Champ Karts, and Dirt 600 Micro Sprints
- Friday night racing starting at 7 PM (doors at 6 PM)
- Saturday racing beginning at 7 PM (doors at 5 PM)
