Aitken leads night practice at Sebring as Whelen Cadillac tops timesheet
Jack Aitken drove the No. 31 Whelen Cadillac V-Series.R to the fastest lap in Thursday night's final practice session at Sebring, posting a 1m49.125s time ahead of Saturday's 12 Hours race.

The Acura MSR ARX-06s completed the top three, with the No. 93 driven by Nick Yelloly taking second (1m49.250s) and Tom Blomqvist's No. 60 in third (1m49.343s). The No. 7 Porsche Penske 963 finished fourth, while BMW RLL's No. 24 rounded out the top five.
In LMP2, Mikkel Jensen set the pace for TDS Racing with a 1m50.496s, outpacing three GTP cars. United Autosports USA's No. 22 ORECA claimed second, with AF Corse's No. 88 in third.
GTD saw Winward Racing's No. 57 Mercedes top the charts with Philip Ellis's 2m00.538s lap. The GTD PRO class was led by the No. 77 AO Racing Porsche, just two-tenths behind.
Three red flags interrupted the session:
- No. 34 Conquest Racing Ferrari stopped on track
- Debris between Turns 1 and 3
- No. 14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus stopped at Turn 3 entrance
Wayne Taylor Racing's No. 45 Lamborghini returned to action after missing Practice 2 due to repairs from an FP1 incident.
